Walk-ins are always welcome at our Queenstown and Auckland Takapuna venues! However, because popular activities like Virtual Reality and Escape Rooms have limited hourly capacity, we highly recommend booking online in advance to secure your preferred timeslot. (Note: Our Auckland CBD venue operates strictly by reservation for group bookings only).

Virtual Reality experiences are available at Thrillzone Queenstown and Thrillzone Auckland Takapuna. Both locations feature state-of-the-art VR systems, including Omni VR (where your body moves in 360°), Hologate VR (multiplayer room-scale gaming), and VR Escape Rooms. Takapuna also features wireless Free-Roaming VR Battleground.

Most of our activities, including Hologate VR, Glow Mini Golf, and Escape Rooms, are suitable for ages 5 and up. For our full-body motion platforms like Omni VR, participants generally need to be at least 6-7 years old to fit the safety gear comfortably. We offer kid-friendly game modes across all our VR stations!

• Indoor Escape Rooms: Available in Queenstown, Takapuna, and Auckland CBD. You and your team are immersed in a physical, richly themed room where you must crack codes, solve puzzles, and uncover secrets to escape within 60 minutes.• Outdoor Escape Adventures: Available in Queenstown and Takapuna. This combines a scavenger hunt with Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Equipped with an iPad and action pack, your team explores the town solving location-based clues.

Yes! Both Thrillzone Queenstown and Thrillzone Takapuna offer KidzClub, a supervised experience where kids enjoy unlimited access to our activities under the guidance of a dedicated staff member. It’s a fun, safe option for kids aged 4–13 while parents take time to explore.

All three locations cater to group functions:• For central Auckland corporate groups wanting a focused puzzle-solving challenge, Auckland CBD is ideal.• For larger Auckland groups seeking action, laser tag, and VR competitions, Takapuna offers the complete package.• In the South Island, Queenstown offers custom multi-activity packages for groups of up to 50+ people.

Yes. Our Queenstown (53 Shotover Street) venue features step-free main level access and a dedicated lift to reach our first-floor attractions, including Mini Golf and Escape Rooms. Most VR games can also be adjusted for seated play. Takapuna and CBD venues also offer accessible entry—please contact our team in advance if you have specific mobility requirements so we can assist.

We recommend comfortable, casual clothing and flat closed-toe shoes (especially for VR experiences, Battleground games, and Outdoor Escape Adventures). All specialised safety gear, VR headsets, and props are provided on-site.
